RPC was
established in 2000. Rick has been
racing ever since he could drive. It
has been his life long passion and
interest. In the early 80's he had a
Super Gas 1948 Anglia called the Rump
Wagon that he raced all over the country
at NHRA Division and National Events.
When Chad, Rick's son was old enough to
race, (pre jr. days), Dad passed the
torch down and became the crew chief for
Chad to race Pro Stock Volkswagen's.
After Chad graduated from college he
moved to California to join Ron Lummus
Racing. While there he became the tuner
on a two-time NHRA Sport Compact World
Championship winning car. Chad moved
back to Texas to work for Smith
Racecraft and helps Racer Pops out when
he is in town. After Chad moved to California it left Rick driverless for about two minutes until he put oldest daughter Kansas in the Dailey's first Jr. Dragster. Kansas was 10 and has since aged out. Now Kinnan, the youngest daughter has taken over and is ready to take her RPC Gunslinger ET down the track. In 2004, wife Stacee joined the business full-time to take over accounting and shipping. Stacee is the track Mother, dispensing Chicken Tortilla soup and Band-Aids. She also has added her own brand of humor and poetry. Just a note from Rick.... "RPC has tripled the size of it's shop-facility in the past year so that we can keep up with the ever-growing demand for quality race pieces. We don't just build and sell Jr. Dragsters and components, we live racing! We're racers and we'll keep on racing that helps us stay on top of the latest technology and improvements available. From state-of-the-art milling and lathe equipment for blueprinting our RPC-prepped clutches to the most current manufacturing techniques used on both our Junior Dragster AND Junior Comp chassis, Racer Pops Components is dedicated to giving our customers the competitive edge, because we're out there ON the starting line too! Thank you for your ever increasing support." |
